The adaptive re-use of an iconic heritage listed CBD building.

This very challenging project saw the restoration + transformation of the historic T&G building from the 1930’s into new student accommodation for Deakin University.  33 studio apartments and roof top common areas where sensitively intertwined within the heritage framework to provide a new CBD hub for student life.

The design went on to win a Heritage Award and even featured on a new art poster by the good people at Harper & Charlie.
